Husband and wife duo Alessandro and Francesca Gallo founded the luxury footwear brand Golden Goose in 2000. With a signature distressed finish, each pair of shoes is designed to break in with wear and be unique. The couple drew inspiration for the brand from skateboarding, which is evident in the design of each style. Skateboarders often prefer broken shoes so they can provide better grip and control. Golden Goose applied this idea to all of their shoes, creating a line of stylish and comfortable footwear.
